Hydromaster will deliver a total of 9 shipsets of each two Hydromaster® Series 4 well-mounted azimuth propulsion units to Cochin Shipyard Limited in India.
The thrusters are rated at 294 kW running at 1800 rpm on the input shaft, and driven by a Volvo D13 diesel engine through a 4.5 m shafting arrangement including a solid shaft running in ample sized roller bearings mounted in plummer blocks.
