Efficient propulsion for fast vessels up to 30 knots

A genuine 360° steerable thruster, second to none for applications in a speed range up to 28-30 knots. Thanks to an optimised pulling propeller and perfectly streamlined low-drag underwater body, the propulsion efficiency of these thrusters is most advantageous for both high speed applications as well as for full electric vessels operating at lower speeds with the need of minimising drag and making each and every battery stored kWh count.

Advanced manoeuvrability & control

With the benefits of unlimited 360° steering, a pair of thrusters as these enable any desired low-speed manoeuvre which is perfect for quick berthing and/or dynamic positioning. The use of a joy-stick system could bring actions as side-stepping, astern and other fancy moves down to a simple one-hand control. Power is transmitted through a set of high-grade spiral bevel gears driving a highly skewed 5 blade class I propeller optimised for high speed vessels.

Engineered for durability & flexible installation

For direct diesel engine driven right-angle upper gearbox versions are available.

Gears and bearings have been sized to meet requirements of all internationally recognised classification societies, to suit a continuous heavy-duty rating, setting it apart from competing products.

The thruster is manufactured in aluminium for weight saving purposes and can be installed in aluminium or carbon fibre hulls in the familiar thruster mounting configurations: top or bottom well mounted mount or weld-in types.
