Electrical (Field) Engineer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Electrical (Field) Engineer to join our team in Rotterdam to assemble, service and commission Hydromaster propulsion systems.
As an Electrical (Service) Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
- Service and commission propulsion units on site which includes
- Assemble and test our (remote) control systems
- Commission and service these control systems
- Commissioning of VFD systems
- Commissioning of various DOL/Soft starters
- Commissioning of hydraulic steering systems
Candidate Requirements:
- Completed technical education in electrical engineering
- Experience with PCB and microcontroller based systems
- Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, technical drawings / manuals and information
- Preferably 3 years or more of (marine) experience
- Basic understanding of mechanical engineering
- Hands-on mentality and practical technical sense
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to travel (also on short notice)
- Flexible, goal oriented and enjoys working in a team
