Technical Purchaser

Hydromaster is a manufacturer of steerable propulsion systems for ships. We operate from Rotterdam (the Netherlands) and supply and service our systems worldwide.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Technical Purchaser to join our team in Rotterdam.

As Purchaser your key responsibilities will be to own and control the purchasing process of the inputs and materials we need to manufacture the HYDROMASTER propulsion units in all its aspects.

This includes:

• Purchasing of all needed materials and systems
• Communication between several departments in NL as well in the UK
• Work in our ERP system to control flow of goods and timely delivery
• Relation management with our suppliers

Candidate Requirements:

• Higher education diploma (MBO/HBO)
• Discipline to work indepently and organise as required
• Experience with ERP Systems
• Accurate in administration and following instructed processes
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Strong negotiator, hands-on mentality and practical technical sense
• Good command of English and Dutch
• Good communication skills
• Flexible, goal oriented and enjoys working in a team
